This project has three major objectives: (1) to examine the organizational changes of new urban neighborhoods (cungaiju shequ); (2) to identify the best models of community construction; (3) to evaluate the role played by party members in community governance. We organize activities, such as Reading Club, for local government officials and residents. We also organize training and study tours for the grassroots government staff and village cadres.

本课题的研究内容主要包括（1）新型城市社区（村转居社区）的治理结构变迁研究；（2）“示范社区”模式的研究。（3）城市化进程中党的作用研究。同时，我们发起了一些社区活动。例如为当地政府官员和居民组织读书会，为基层政府工作人员和村干部组织培训和短期移动课堂等活动。
